A Perfect Murder

When Meera Mujumdar is off watching a play with an old flame, her husband, Niranjan puts in place a grand plan to murder her. The plan is foolproof, the alibis are plotted and provided for, and the date is set. On a rainy night, Meera sleeps alone in her house. At the designated time, the telephone rings. As Meera gets up to answer it, she has no idea of the dark shadow that lurks behind her drapes. Will Meera somehow escape from her predicament? Can Inspector Gharge unfold the mystery? Or will Niranjan get away with committing, A Perfect Murder?

Watching “A PERFECT MURDER” at the Royal Opera House was unique in many ways– an amazing thriller in a heritage theatre par excellence! I watched this Marathi adaptation of an Alfred Hitchcock thriller during its previous show at the Royal Opera House and would recommend it to all theatre lovers!
